The Durham Open Space Plan is a document set to be published in 2027 that will establish the town’s land and preservation goals.

Identify areas in Durham prone to flooding and water quality issues.

Assess how open spaces and natural resources can provide ecological and community services.

Serve as a tool for coordinating projects, policies, and programs.

Set a strategy to be incorporated into upcoming Comprehensive Plan update.
